Head of Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport believes that the impending increases in landing fees and other user charges will price Canada's largest airport right out of the market. Louis Turpen, chief executive officer of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) stated that by 2005, Toronto would be in an ideal geographic position with the type of infrastructure and platform to provide unparalleled access to both North America and the world.
