Coke Classic ads have life

Article Abstract:

Coca-Cola's Coke Classic ads, which had been produced by Edge Creative, Hollywood, CA's leading talent agency, is a big hit to consumers, saying that the ads are very effective. The Coke Classic ads uses animation and special effects to promote the cola product to various target groups. Twenty percent of the polled 325 consumers that have seen three of Coke Classic's commercials said that they like it very much. The firm has injected $112.6 million advertising the Coke Classic in the US in 1997.

Networks expand commercial time

Article Abstract:

The Big Four television networks are airing more commercials in an effort to offset soaring programming costs with higher ad revenues. Commercial time on primetime nights on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox during the first 10 weeks of the current season was three hours and 17.5 minutes longer than the previous year. Moreover, the number of 30-second ads and network promotions increased 4% to 18,998.
