Kellogg ads wax nostalgic

Article Abstract:

Kellogg Co's latest advertising for its Pop-Tarts reminds consumers of the 1960s, with its presentation in bright colors and kaleidoscopes. The commercial, created by Leo Burnett, is targeted to the adult market and airs on primetime TV. The ad agency chose the 1960s theme to project the best attributes of the product, which was concocted during the '60s. The Pop-Tarts commercial is among the range of advertisements that have carried the '60s theme in 1999.
