AOL president plays pivotal but humble role

Article Abstract:

America Online Inc (AOL) Pres Bob Pittman is believed to have played a pivotal role in the completion of the merger agreement between his company and media giant, Time Warner Inc. AOL's buyout of Time Warner for $160-billion-in stock eases the fulfillment of Pittman's goal of making AOL's speedy Internet service a nationwide must-have.
