Descartes buys BCE Energis service

Article Abstract:

Descartes Systems Group Inc. has purchased BCE Emergis Inc.'s transportation logistics messaging service, having paid $72.9 million in cash and stock. The acquisition will enable to company to gain new clients for its logistics network and expand its market to include air cargo companies. Both companies said they have also agreed to provide their clients both services together in the near future.

MGI strikes deal to be bought

Delano buys U.S.-based Digital for $87-million

Lenexa, Kansas-based Digital Archaeology Corp. has been acquired by Markham, Ont.-based Delano Technology Corp. for $87 million in stock and cash. Delano will expand its e-commerce line of products through the acquisition.
