AOL tops the TV networks

Article Abstract:

America Online is more highly regarded by consumers than national television broadcasters ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, according to a study conducted by The Myers Group. The result suggests that the era of media convergence is here, but some people say the result can be explained by the fact that brand awareness is more difficult for broadcasters because they have to appeal to a broader segment of the population. Ahead of AOL in the survey are cable networks such as Discovery Channel and Weather Channel.
