Embattled Portus circles the wagons: Redemptions halted pending probe

Portus Alternative Asset Management Inc. has instructed to its client not to withdraw any money from the company's investment fund. The fund manager, who is under investigation by regulators across Canada, indicates that the company has suspended all redemption requests from investors with immediate effect.
