Ending the secrecy: Karla Homolka details her deal with the Crown

Article Abstract:

Homolka received consecutive 12-year sentences for manslaughter in the murders of Leslie Mahaffy and Kristen French. She received a fixed sentence after testifying that her former husband Paul Bernardo was the murderer, but her sentence may be cancelled if her testimony is found to be false.

Lawyers on trial: the Bernardo tapes spark an ethical debate

Article Abstract:

Ken Murray and Carolyn MacDonald, former lawyers for Bernardo, were charged with obstruction of justice and possession of child pornography. The charges stem from their 16-month possession of video tapes showing Bernardo and Karla Homolka torturing and killing two teenagers.
