Fidelity's unassuming heir

Fidelity Investments Inc's unassuming heir, Abigail Johnson, is widely viewed as the next in line to succeed current chairman, Ned Johnson. But many observers said that although Abby Johnson has risen to the top ranks of the global mutual fund company, she remains undecided whether to take the post her father, Ned, will vacate upon retirement. Abby herself expressed the belief that the highest position at Fidelity should earned, not just inherited.
