Huge drilling project off N.S. is a big bust

The latest in the series Atlantic dusters and disappointments is the $100 million offshore natural gas well near Nova Scotia has come up dry which has given a big bust to the drilling group, EnCana Corp. The company spokesman Lori McLean feels that the company is continuing to evaluate a separate project Deep Panuke, for possible development of natural gas reserves.

Natural gas firms brace for backlash

Canadian natural gas distribution firms have kept prices high during the 2003 summer due to high natural gas prices. Companies are also forecasting high winter bills and are providing energy efficiency tips.
