Husky 2 years from IPO, Hong Kong owner says

Calgary, Alb.-based Husky Oil Ltd., which is controlled by Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing, will postpone its initial public offering for two years. Husky, which will sell up to 25% of its stock in the IPO, is one the largest oil and gas companies in Canada.

Husky project delivers scant royalties

Calgary, Alb.-based Husky Oil Ltd. has paid total royalties of less than $700,000 to the provinces of Ottawa and Alberta for its $1.6 billion heavy oil upgrader project in Lloydminster, Sask. Husky is controlled by Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing.

Husky delays heavy oil upgrader expansion
