IBM faces lawsuit over Nazis' use of technology

Article Abstract:

IBM Corp is faced with a lawsuit filed by former Nazi internment camp inmates. The lawsuit alleges that IBM committed crimes against humanity by providing technology that helped the Nazis identify targets for extermination during the Holocaust. It is asking IBM to admit guilt, make World War II-era corporate records public and establish a Holocaust relief fund which the plaintiff's lawyers estimates at $10 million in 1940s money. IBM's liability, however, could be limited since it joined a German reparations fund recently.
