The residents of the twin city area of Albury-Wodonga are testing a high-speed wireless Internet communication system that will allow business operators, health providers and everyone else from both cities to use. The ambitious program aims to free the entire twin-city area of Albury-Wodonga from reliance upon Telstra's Internet network.

Cape Range Wireless, which was dabbling with technology for nearly two decades, has delivered its first telephony system to Telekom Malaysia. Through this, the company aims to provide IT access to people in remote areas who have never used a telephone.
