A study conducted by Pitney Bowes Inc. finds that Canadian office workers have become more skilled in handling the daily onslaught of email and phone messages, despite the increase of these messages in past years.

Jeans workers helped to face life after Levi: Company offers transitional services.

Article Abstract:

Levi Strauss & Co. producing jeans pairs closed down and opted for a less costly production offshore on May 2004 leaving more than 1,100 employees out of work. Levis did a good job of contributing directly to the joint labor-management action centers to help employees find new jobs or to retrain their new careers.
