Microsoft findings spur lawsuit filings

Article Abstract:

Microsoft Corp, a software giant, faces a class-action suit in San Francisco, CA, that accused it of using its monopoly power to overcharge customers. The suit was filed by three lawyers on behalf of millions of California customers who utilize the Windows 95 and 98 operating systems on their PCs. Other lawsuits were also filed against the company. Such legal actions have been filed in light of Judge Thomas Penfield's findings that Microsoft curtailed innovation and harmed consumers.
