TVA wants two minutes more

Montreal, Quebec-based Groupe TVA Inc. has asked for permission to increase ad time from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. TVA, which is the largest French-language private television network in Canada, wants to raise the advertising time limit from twelve minutes to fourteen minutes per hour.

Tellier wants more support from Ottawa

Article Abstract:

Bombardier Inc. chief Paul Tellier requested support from Ottawa to provide more generous assistance to the industrial giant, calling for a sweeping national aerospace policy to help avoid a threat from increasingly aggressive global rivals. He stated that Bombardier could decide to assemble a new 100-seat jet at its components facility in Northern Ireland if government incentives are better than Canada.
