No child is ever turned away: Dr. Kenneth Salyer, a craniofacial surgeon, has devoted his life to reshaping deformity into beauty, transforming misery into joy

Article Abstract:

Salyer has spent nearly three decades reshaping the skulls of those who have the birth defect encephalocele. He has treated 13,000 people, and about 80% have been children, many of them too poor to pay. He hopes to be able to perform a free operation for every paid one.

IS DNA testing foolproof?

Article Abstract:

Proponents of DNA testing for criminal identification purposes claim that it is as accurate as finger printing. However, DNA testing is complicated and requires great skill. The accuracy of a test may be affected by contamination and the level of technicians' training.
