On the waterfront line

Article Abstract:

The arrival of the first ship at the National Farmers' Federation's (NFF's) scab Webb Dock in Melbourne, Australia, might be the trigger for conflict, perhaps involving guns. Non-union NFF trainees are getting ready to go into previously union turf. There is a sort of false calm that may disappear when the first boat appears. Big business has hired security professionals. They have informants in the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) and information is that elements of the MUA and other unions are agitating for and volunteering for aggression.
