One Nation tiger savages the hand that feeds it

Article Abstract:

One Nation has a parliamentary platform from which to erode Australian Prime Minister John Howard's leadership. Howard mishandled the situation with party leader Pauline Hanson. Hanson has built up momentum by saying simplistic things people agree with and understand. The battle inside the Coalition is between those who believe better communications will win back the disillusioned, and those who feel fundamental change in policy is required to counter One Nation's impact.
