Healthy thinking

Article Abstract:

Thinking is aform of cognitive functioning whose relationship to behavior remains an unresolved question. To elucidate this process and its role in behavior adjustment, cognition has been categorized into four features, namely, cognitive content, process, product and structure. This categorization has allowed an analysis of the literature by a process of differentiation within the features. Such an approach may significantly clarify the data in this field allowing a more scientific understanding of the psychologically healthy approaches to cognitive information processing.

Article Abstract:

The Queensland Working Women's Service (QWWS) has responded to the increasing calls that it has received about bullying by creating a guideline for workplaces. Cath Rafferty, manager of QWWS, is heading a committee that will formulate the guidelines and oversea a two-year awareness program.Bullying is a power issue and is not limited to either gender. It is accepted as part of the management process in several companies. This acceptance needs to be challenged.

Article Abstract:

African Americans should pay more attention to their health to face the future confidently. Their mortality rate is one and a half times higher than that of whites, teenage pregnancy rate is 3 times higher, and their susceptibility to AIDS and HIV and infant mortality rate are greater. Blacks, as a community and as individuals, should make efforts to improve health conditions and have the perseverance to sustain the struggle against ill-health.
