Fed Regional Survey Shows Slowdown in Recent Growth
Article Abstract:
The survey of business activity reported by the 12 Federal Reserve regional banks show a slowdown in consumer spending and other indications of an uneven recovery from the recession. Most of the weakness is due to the slowdown in consumer spending, but there are also some areas of weakness in the manufacturing sector.
