Handling personal data

Article Abstract:

Lotus Development Corp's $149 Lotus Organizer is a superior personal information management system (PIM) that presents a busy PIM user with an on-screen notebook, with binder rings and section tabs. The tabs are labeled Notepad, Planner, Anniversary, Calendar, To Do and Address. Users can access each tab by clicking on the tab of choice with a mouse button. By using the calendar, the user can note appointments and change them easily. Alarms can be set for appointment reminders, appointment costs are noted to help bill a client and secrecy of appointment is assured until the proper password is used. Lotus Organizer requires an 80286- or higher microcomputer, Microsoft Windows 3.0 or later, 3Mbytes of hard disk space, a mouse or other cursor device and a VGA monitor. The program can make printouts and print mailing labels.
