Fighting crime: crime vs. terrorism

Article Abstract:

The Bush administration has moved its focus from crime to terrorism and has therefore reduced the funds allotted for fighting crime and moved them to tackling terrorism. The decision to release the less-sentenced offence cocaine prisoners back into the community in addition to less funding would lead to an increase in crime.
