Political correctness and the Jacob affair

Article Abstract:

Bloc Quebecois defence critic Jean-Marc Jacob should have been investigated on sedition charges after he issued a communique on Oct 26, 1995, urging Canadian soldiers to join the Quebec Forces. Instead, the Liberals gave him only a weak reprimand, and he still has access to defense secrets.

Let Bouchard eat half a separatist cake

Article Abstract:

Canadians should consider giving Bouchard and his followers a part of Quebec, but not the parts that wish to remain with Canada. Such a partition would rid the country of troublemakers like Bouchard, who do not value their Canadian citizenship.
