The achievements and strategies of George Soros, the billionaire investor philanthropist-famed for bringing down currencies and shaking communist regimes are mentioned. Soros plans to spend millions of his money to defeat President George Bush in the upcoming American elections and hopes to bring about a change in America. Soros sees his involvement in U.S. political affairs as a logical evolution of his work to create open societies in former Soviet-bloc nations.

The counterattack

President Clinton is counterattacking as allegations of sex and lies endanger his presidency. The public seems to be on the president's side with his approval rating at 70%. Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel, is also under attack by the White House and critics about his investigation methods and the notion that he is part of a right-wing conspiracy against the president.
