Sega's new virtual pet in dogfight with Sony

Article Abstract:

Japan's Sega Enterprises Ltd. has introduced a new virtual toy, named PooChi, which responds to various stimuli. The new robotic pet, which will compete against Sony's robotic product called AIBO, is expected to generate about 1 million unit sales at $28 per unit.

Study says Globe still No. 1 national paper

A new study from the Newspaper Audience Databank Inc. reveals that The Globe and Mail has remained the leading newspaper in Canada. The study reports that over one million people read the paper, reflecting a 14% increase.
