SemBioSys nets loans to market technology

Calgary, Canada-based SemBioSys Genetics Inc., which is a biotechnology company, has obtained $16.5 million in venture capital financing. San Francisco, Calif.-based Bay City Capital LLC provided the funds to commercialize SemBioSys' technology.
