Should the government crack down on pornography on the internet?

Article Abstract:

The availability of pornographic material on the internet has led some people to call for government regulation of the information superhighway. Proponents of regulation beleive that the nature of the internet makes parental oversight impossible and seek to create fines for the dispersal of harassing material that would not be protected by the First Amendment in any other form. Opponents of regulations point out that free speech involves any communication between two consenting parties, regardless of who else decides to listen in.
