Some politicians just don't get it

Article Abstract:

Politicians often lament the public's low opinion of lawmakers and elected officials. However, politicians do little to improve their images. They should not only avoid political corruption, but also any appearance of it. Details about several political scandals in Canada are given.

Canadian members of Parliament should get out of Ottawa this summer and travel to areas of Canada that are frequently overlooked by politicians. A recommended itinerary includes Grand Manan Island, L'Anse aux Meadows, the Gaspe Peninsula and Lake of the Woods.
