South African companies that have invested in the Australian share-market are dealing with poor investment decisions and their country's deteriorating economy. South African companies such as Metro Cash & Carry and Bidvest have invested millions in takeovers but are finding out their stocks are worth half of the original price. South Africa's currency has lost 20% of its value and many fear it could challenge investor confidence.
