Starnet Communications moving office to Antigua

Article Abstract:

Online gaming and pornography provider Starnet Communications International Inc of Vancouver, British Columbia, is moving its head office to Antigua. The transfer came two weeks after law offices raided the company's Vancouver headquarters and seized computer data, software and equipment. However, the company denied any involvement in illegal gambling and child pornography, stating that its transfer is part of its plan to accelerate international growth. It added that some software development and administrative functions will remain in Vancouver.

Bentall to boost portfolio in Southern California

Bentall Corp, a real estate firm, is intending to invest approximately $200 mil to boost its stock market performance and expand its property portfolio in Southern California. The company, which has over 50% of its C$1.5 bil portfolio in Seattle, WA, believes that boosting its presence in California is the logical next phase in its growth plans. At present, Bentall has around C$250 mil available for purchases.
