John Schaeffer, CEO of Tempo Services, oversees a staff of 20,000 and clients including Telstra, Westfield, and St. George Bank. Tempo offers security services, cleaning services, catering and courier services. Schaeffer says the company has saved the New South Wales school system some $100 million over the past five years, and he hopes to continue expanding, since only 60% of Australian companies so far outsource the services Tempo offers.
