Summer's sting: a few simple steps can reduce the number of bites

Canada hosts over 70 species of mosquitos. The female only, require blood. Municipality spraying can help, but getting rid of stagnant water can also help residents. Diseases carried by mosquitos are noted. Clothing, repellents, and electronic devices are evaluated as deterrent.

Yeltsin's surprise

Russian Pres Boris Yeltsin said some US prisoners of war who were captured in Vietnam could be alive in Russian prison camps. US, Russian and Vietnamese officials claim that there is little evidence to supports Yeltsin's statements.
