Article Abstract:

Clarence Thomas' confirmation to the US Supreme Court came after long and painful Senate hearings. Most senators gave Thomas the benefit of the doubt by discrediting Anita Hill's testimony, and Pres Bush says it has increased public awareness of sexual harassment.
