Telework option takes on appeal in Canada

Article Abstract:

A survey called Canadians and Telework by Ekos Research Associates and Public Interest Advocacy Centre reveals that one in three Canadians would cede a 5% salary increase in favor of the chance to work from home. Out of the 4,500 respondents, 27% declared that they would be more than willing to forgo a pay increase in exchange for the opportunity to do their job from home. The survey also indicates that 46% believe that employees who often work at the office have a better chance of getting promoted than those who work from home.
