The NDP's big plans

Article Abstract:

The NDP's 46-point agenda calls for massive spending increases and higher taxes on corporations and wealthy individuals. If all the initiatives were enacted, spending would increase 31% by 2001-2002. The NDP's claim that economic growth and higher taxes will cover the costs is dubious, at best.
