Article Abstract:

Info Quiz ($39.95), from ComputerEasy, is a computer program that somewhat resembles Trivial Pursuit. The program includes about 500 questions, each with four possible answers, ranging over many fields. One or two players can try it in either of two modes: in the competitive mode, a score is kept; in the teaching mode, a score is not kept. Info Quiz comes with an editing program that allows a user to create sets of questions. The program runs on IBM and compatible computers. It needs at least 384Kbytes of memory. Correct Grammar 2.0 ($79), from Lifetree Software, checks spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation and style. It uses the Gunning-Fog, Flesch Reading Ease and Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level indexes to rate readability. The program runs on IBMs or compatibles. It needs 460Kbytes of memory and a hard disk.
