The captain and the cover-up: the senior officer who wrote a damning report on the Australian intelligence services says he has been made a scapegoat in a 'shabby, tawdry cover-up.'

Article Abstract:

Lance Collins, Captain Martin Toohey, a distinguished naval barrister having top-secret security clearance, after completing his investigations on the allegations made by high-ranking army intelligence officer, has concluded that Collins was treated disgracefully and made a scapegoat in a cover-up concerning the Indonesian military. Martin Toohey believes that his report has been criticized and challenged without any basis and feels that a royal commission should be formed for coordinating Australia's intelligence activities.
