The patriot

Article Abstract:

Intelligence agent Lance Collins in 2004 charged the Defense Intelligence Organization in Canberra with shutting down the flow of intelligence to Australian forces in East Timor during the bloodbath carried out by Indonesian-backed militias in 1999. Collins' charges were upheld by an official inquiry in 2005, and in an extract from his new book, 'Plunging Point', he details how Indonesian security services turned an agent who served for years in the Australian Secret Intelligence Services (ASIS).
