Yasir Arafat routinely denounces Jews and says he looks forward to the end of Israel, and the United Nations funds pro-Palestinian zealots. Moderate Muslims need to speak up, and the same type of pressure put on Israel to work for peace must be put on Arabs.

An overwhelming Middle East darkness

Article Abstract:

It will be many years before Israelis and Palestinians will be able to live together in peace, even if a Palestinian state becomes a reality. Two factors causing the hatred between the two groups are Islamic fundamentalism and poor Palestinian leadership.

Criticism of Israel is pure hypocrisy

A speech by Yasir Arafat prompted the Palestinian riots when Israel opened the tunnel in Jerusalem. Palestinians will never renounce violence if the international community continues to blame Israel for not giving in to violence.
