The trauma trade

Article Abstract:

In troubled times disasters occur at any time or any place with many being totally unprepared for the aftermath giving rise to a counseling industry dedicated to provide a healing touch to the survivors. There are many who erroneously feel that counseling is the answer to all trauma as not every one is comfortable about bearing their feelings to complete strangers but trauma care specialists say that many a times there is a specific need for trauma care, which helps in ensuring that survivors don't suffer a complete breakdown.

Article Abstract:

The 20-part television serial, Fireflies, base on the lives of fire-fighters, that debuted on ABC promises to provide good drama provided the producers increase the pace of the serial because the characters are down-to-earth and are like normal human beings one encounters every day. The first few episodes may just concentrate on individuals rather than show any serious fire fighting episodes but the tempo of these first episodes may well decide the fate of the drama series.

Foxtel, a cable and satellite television company in Australia has launched Foxtel IQ that would enable recording of programs onto a hard drive inside the specially made set-top box. The people in Australia are confused by the introduction of Foxtel IQ technology and IQ has not aroused any interest among the people of Australia.
