'This person is sick:' B.C. police fear a brutal killer could strike again

Article Abstract:

A teenage girl was murdered and another injured in a brutal attack on Oct 14, 1995, in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The killer made three calls to police threatening to murder again, and five days later, a man believed to the killer tried to attack a woman in Vancouver, but she escaped.

Article Abstract:

Police recently discovered the murdered bodies of five people at Restless Acres, a farm near Abbotsford. The victims were killed execution-style, and all had connections in the cocaine trade. The migration of Vancouver residents to Abbotsford has brought big city crime.

A killer is still loose and taunting police after brutally raping and murdering 16-year-old Tanya Smith on Oct 14, 1996. The killer began calling police four days after the crime, berating them for mismanaging the investigation.
