This article describes the dedication in Canberra, Australia of a new memorial honoring the country's wartime nurses. Relevant details include the memorial's design by decorative artist Robin Moorhouse, who used 60 massive glass panels to symbolize the vital but often overlooked contributions of Australian nurses in alleviating misery from the Boer War to Vietnam.
