Time Warner and Disney agree to end dispute about cable

Article Abstract:

Following criticism by consumers, editorial writers and politicians, Time Warner relented in its decision to take Walt Disney Co.'s ABC stations off its cable systems, and has reached an agreement with Disney that extends the service through July 15. Further details of the accord were unavailable, but Time Warner has apologized to consumers and regulators for cutting off access to the ABC TV stations.
