U.S. Weighs Putting Limits On Textiles From China

Article Abstract:

Trade quotas for the textile industry will expire Jan. 1, 2005. The National Council of Textile Organizations is petitioning the government to extend some the quotas, claiming that 650,000 jobs will be lost in the United States as a result of clothing and textile exports from China.
