Venture capital not for every start-up

Article Abstract:

Venture capital that has helped some companies become successful might not be compatible with some start-ups. For this reason, investment experts across the US give five reasons to consider before accepting venture capital. These are: the possibility of losing control of the business; pressure to grow the business too fast; an extra cash that might be used incorrectly; a sense of mission for employees that might differ with the venture capitalist's; and lack of a strong foundation to put the funds to best use.
