'We'll continue to be aggressive'

Article Abstract:

US Energy Sec Bill Richardson has acknowledged that both the US government and its contractors were not transparent with the public and the workers about potential contamination resulting from nuclear weapons work as well as the need for cleanup. He made the admission in relation to USA Today publication's probe of the health and environmental records of private companies hired by the government to produce and process radioactive and toxic material in the 1940s and 1950s. Richardson stressed that the incumbent administration would continue being aggressive in identifying sites that need to be cleaned up and paying restitution to workers who suffer ill health because they were contaminated.

Many of the survey respondents point to two-year college as the place where they were able to find direction and cited the excellent quality of education at these colleges.
