After years of selling products, Clairol now hopes to sell its image

Clairol is set to launch a new ad campaign that emphasizes ethnic diversity and individual standards of beauty. The New York office of FCB Worldwide created the multi-million dollar campaign. The campaign also promotes the Clairol name over individual products, as research showed that the brand equity wasn't being fully utilized.

With a campaign promoting a new cola product, Pepsi declares that it's time to smile again

Pepsi-Cola Co. is set to introduce its new cola, Pepsi Twist, with a humorous, nationwide ad campaign, featuring an elaborate TV commercial. The commerical and the new product were planned long before the Sept. 11 attacks, and after substantial market research that found that Americans were ready to see advertising again, Pepsi decided to go forward with the product launch as planned.
