Outlook rosy for '96

The economy normally does well during an election year, and most financial experts seem to believe that 1996 will be no exception. The outlook is for lower interest rates, a stronger dollar, and relatively low inflation, all of which should make for generally higher stock prices.

Beware this agent for change: don't rush to replace that life insurance policy

Article Abstract:

A replacement insurance policy may be a sales device known as 'churning' in which an agent gets a commission of up to a half of a first year's premium for an extended policy. Unfortunately the add-on policy uses money generated from the old cash-value policy to pay for itself.
