Stopping work closer to age 55 is considered to be early, and the Government is hoping to get people to delay retiring by the release of its 'transition to retirement' initiative. Graeme Colley, the superannuation manager at ING's self-managed super fund subsidiary Super Concepts, states that it would be interesting to see if the Government could introduce a policy that is simple and appealing.
